So, today was pretty tame. Got up nice and late, dicked around on the internet until it was time for school. Met up with Kenny to give him homework he missed out on. It was a little overcast and sprinkley all day. Went to classes. Found out I did about as good as I thought on my Business Honorifics midterm. Oh well. Lit was boring, but I managed to stay awake somehow. Headed right home after classes and got here about 6.
The typhoon hit in full force about 7:30.
Mama had already made it home, thankfully, and we had a simple dinner. All the while, wind was pounding the windows and rain torrenting down. I was more than a little afraid for Yuri and Rio. Yuri got here first, about 9, and Rio about an hour after. Rio was soaking wet. Not much an umbrella can do if the rain is falling sideways. I checked the Waseda website and the latest classes today were cancelled. I'm wondering/hoping that all classes tomorrow will be cancelled if this keeps up. Mama said they usually get cancelled in cases of typhoons…
