So, today was nice. I lie. Today was so freaking hot. I hate this heat. And humidity. Uggggghhhhhh. For comparison, I watched a special last night on places in Hokkaido. One place they mentioned is a hot spring bath type place. They heat the baths up to 31º and recommend you don't stay in too long or you'll get light headed. It was the same temperature today in Tokyo. And just about a much water.
Went with my host sister, Rio, to Takaosan today. We had planned to go to a photography exhibit, but changed plans last night in favor of something potentially cooler. So much for that idea. We went to the trick art museum, a relatively cool place, thanks to air conditioning. Took a bunch of awesome pictures that you're not gonna see, until at least much later. I think I've just given up posting pics, it's too much effort. Might do a large picdump later with a bunch of pics I've taken but not posted. Don't know for sure yet.
Tomorrow is a hella early start, which is why I'm posting before 10. Gotta be at Ikebukuro by 7am. UUUHGGGGGHGHGHHHH. Hate getting up early. At least it might still be a little cool. Don't have much faith in that. It never really cools down here like it does back home. I think it has something to do with all the buildings, concrete and asphalt. They absorb all the heat and just never let go. It's absurd. Anyway, this is goodnight. Hopefully I'll post tomorrow night. Might depend on how busy my day will be.
